Nuestro socio Ignacio Rodríguez de la Riva, participó en el programa de la televisión Canaria RTVC, para hablar sobre el 40 aniversario de la OTAN y el papel que ha desempeñado.

Ignacio, dio respuesta a las siguientes preguntas:

  1. Sin unión soviética y sin guerra fría, la OTAN parecía casi de otros tiempos pero ha venido la guerra de Ucrania ha revitalizarla ¿Cierto?
  2. ¿Qué requisitos son necesarios para entrar en la OTAN? ¿Qué obligatoriedades tienen los miembros?
  3. Si por ejemplo ahora el ejército de Putin invadiese Finlandia o Suecia, que ya ha dicho la otan que estaría bajo su cobertura desde el momento que pidan su ingreso, ¿España estaría obligada a intervenir en su ayuda?
  4. ¿Es comparable el peso de Estados Unidos militarmente a la del resto de los socios de la OTAN juntos?
  5. El Rey en el discurso de conmemoración de los 40 años de pertenencia de España en la OTAN, decía que no nos podemos olvidar del flanco sur, algunos inmediatamente han mirado a Marruecos pero el Rey se refería en su discurso a una amenaza que viene más del Sur, ¿Verdad?
  6. Esa amenaza de Sahel, no sería una amenaza de ejército convencional como por ejemplo lo que está ocurriendo en Ucrania, supongo que estamos hablando de otras amenazas que puedan llegar de esa zona ¿Cuáles pueden ser esas amenazas?
